Emily Longhurst is a Norfolk artist, working from her home studio in Reepham. Her work is inspired by her surroundings; the beautiful Norfolk countryside and coastline. The sea itself is her main source of inspiration, she loves 'watching its ever changing mood, energy and colour'.

Emily has been creating her unique sailboats since 2016. The sail offers her an unconventional canvas to which she enjoys playing with perspective, pattern, form and colour. Each sailboat has a unique hand painted design. The hulls of the boats are made from driftwood and reclaimed wood, often collected along the North Norfolk coast.
